LS Instruments

The LS Spectrometer^TM II is a goniometer-based variable-angle light scattering instrument for static- (SLS) and dynamic light scattering (DLS). The LS Spectrometer^TM II allows for the most comprehensive nanoparticle characterization and can be further upgraded with various options, such as Modulated 3D technology for the measurement of turbid samples.

The NanoLab 3D™ is a compact DLS instrument for particle sizing that is based on the groundbreaking and patented Modulated 3D Cross-Correlation technology. It efficiently suppresses multiple light scattering and therefore sample dilution is no longer required for most samples.

The DWS RheoLab™ is a contact-free rheometer. It provides access to the sample's viscoelastic properties over an unmatched frequency range and enables the study of textures and microstructures while requiring only small sample volumes.

LsLab^TM provides state-of-the-art light scattering data treatment algorithms and analytical tools. It allows highly customizable data display and export to major data treatment platforms while saving all results in a central SQL database.

The LSI Correlator™ is a digital correlator designed for real-time computation of auto- and cross-correlations as well as photon counting of pulse streams arising from dynamic light scattering (DLS), diffusing wave spectroscopy (DWS), diffuse coherence spectroscopy (DCS) and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) experiments.

For DWS on transparent samples, tracer particles are added at a concentration in the range of 0.1 to 2vol%, depending on the type of the particles and the thickness of the cuvette used.

For the optimal use of our instruments we recommend the following selection of cuvettes.
